Plumbago
Plumbago auriculata
Plumbago is a genus of flowering plants native to many places, from South America to Australia, depending on the species of the plant. Most species are shrubs, and they bloom bunches of small, white or blue flowers that all have 5 total petals. Plumbago can grow to be 20 feet tall and 10 feet wide, all depending on the species. They grow best in tropical to temperate climates, and are perennial, meaning they can live for a very long time, especially in the right climate. Plumbago is used as medicine in Africa and Asia, although there is no evidence of its effectiveness.
