Jasmine

Jasmine is a genus of flowering shrubs and vines that do not grow tendrils and has a sweet fragrance. Out of all 200 species, the majority of jasmine flowers are white or yellow, but the shape of the flowers and their petals all range. Some species even bear fruit, ovular black berries. Jasmine is indigenous to Southeast Asia, and grows best in tropical climates. Infusing tea leaves with jasmine flower blossoms creates jasmine tea, which can lower the risk of cancer and type 2 diabetes.
