Frangipani is a genus of flowering plants with 12 species and is native to Central America. They have a rich aroma, but their sap can irritate your skin, and eating the sap or bark can cause vomiting and diarrhea. The flowers’ beautiful petals are yellow in the middle and gradually turn white the farther they go out. Frangipani are used in religious ceremonies in countries such as Bali and India, and can also be found in soaps, candles, and oils to add its sweet scent.
