Bird of Paradise

Bird of Paradise, or crane flower, is a genus of plants whose flowers somewhat resemble that of the animal, bird-of-paradise. This plant can grow to be 5 feet tall, and its stalk is very sturdy. Bird of Paradise flowers are orange with hints of blue, and small capsules found in the flower contain the plant’s seeds. It’s native to southern Africa and grows best in warmer climates. The flowers have no fragrance, but are a very popular ornamental plant due to its unique beauty.
